LPG Bottles

Lillen has two 9kg LPG bottles that are located on the right side of the van in a locked storage compartment.

The valve need to be opened manually. Once one LPG bottle is empty, it’s required to manually move the pigtail (flexible pipe between the LPG bottle valve and the LPG regulator) from the old to new new bottle.

Important: Ensure both valves are turned OFF while driving.

Important: Before opening the LPG bottle valve, verify that the gas alarm is working and open windows and sunroof hatch to ensure there is adequate ventilation.

Warning: LPG bottles are not SWAP'n'GO and need to be refilled. A replacement fee applies if original bottles are swapped out.

Info: If gas is not required overnight, it's recommeded to turn the gas of by the bottle before going to bed.

Tip: Before turning of the gas by the bottle, ignite one cooktop burner, then turn the valve off and let the flame on the burner extinguish. This will confirm that the valve has been turned the correct direction and is OFF, it also ensures that there is minimal gas left in the pipes.
